Alive with Cadence...

Keo had some pieces in a show at All City in Seattle. I missed the opening but was able to catch an early peek before I took off, very motivating.
Side Note:
I challenge any parts manufaturer to make a frame and fork this man can not break, in less then a month!!!

The trip to Philadelphia for Fast Friday(4.10.08-4.15.08) was good times, everyone who came out was amazing. Thank you all for your support and hospitality.

Traveling for FF is always a great time and response has always been so positive. Friday April 11th FF is going to be a warm up event for RE Load's 8th annual April Fools Ride(april 12), last year they had 350 people...! People are already getting hyped for this weekend in philly, Keo even got a plane ticket before I did!??!? See you on the east coast.

Also The Fast Friday Movie will be one of this years headliners for the Bicycle Film Festival(which went to 16 cities all over the world last year) and will be making its East Coast Premiere at BFF NYC May 28-June-1st!!!

About a year and a half ago I was very interested in the idea of the subliminal effect of different positive phrases in our everyday environments. I also felt that a hand painted message would have a stronger and more humanistic effect. It turns out that not only has someone else enjoyed my work but they have sold photos of it to Urban Outfitters who markets it in a "wall mural package" with a modest price tag of $200.00. Standard move on the part of OU exploit all that is orginal. Ohh and they said no way to getting me one of these things...fuckers!

Second Cadence Classic has come to its much anticipated end, with non other then KEO taking it home with his signature style and grace. The end of the Classic also marks the end of the Fast Friday legacy here in Seattle. FF at this point will no longer be a monthly event, this does not mean that FF is over it simply means that FF and myself will be getting a much needed break.

RE Load has been prototyping their new backpack design. I was able to get my hands on one of them and so far has been the most comfortable and functional two strap bag I have ever used. Hyped for them to be out there in the world!

Cadence Classic II.

Home(Fargo & Minneapolis) for the holidays.
Each time back is a unique experience. Awarness of times effects on life, contrasts between the lives of those closest to you, and believing in/loving those who have contrary beliefs to your own.
Home is often necessary to help awake ones own awareness of place and direction.

The Fast Friday world premier at Bicycle Film Fest in Tokyo was epic! Plus Fast Friday Crew (David Rowe, PJ, Jason & I) showed Japan how Fast Friday is done. Everyone loved it and wanted us to start Fast Friday Japan, now we just have to figure out the commute.

Seek; a mixture consisting of both a consistent push of discomfort and drive to experince life differently over and over again. All the while convinced it is for a purpose that may not be much greater than the effects of a few simple colors or a line that stikes the perfect balance between uneasiness and comfort.

Moving away from everything is ideal at times, although once you are "away". You find that after a moment you are suddenly back in everything. The cycle starts again.
